Part of Rewined's Harvest collection, Burning of the Vines features notes of smoked cedar, clove, and amber. The warmth of an autumn vineyard bonfire, captured in wax.

When harvest ends and the vines go dormant, winegrowers prune hard, and the cuttings, called sarments, are gathered and burned. Across Burgundy and Bordeaux the winter vineyards fill with thin columns of smoke and the smell of vine wood on cold air: the old year leaving so the new one can bud. In some villages the prunings are saved to grill over; steak au sarment is a winegrower's reward.

This candle is that evening in the rows: smoked cedar and clove wrapped in amber warmth.
